1. Service Description

GemmaNet is an open platform for connecting AI services into a decentralized network. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GemmaNet platform, API, and related services.

2. Account Registration

To use GemmaNet services, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, including a valid email address, and to keep your account information up to date.

3. API Keys

Your API key is your credential for accessing the GemmaNet network. You are responsible for keeping your API key secure and confidential. Do not share your key or embed it in client-side code. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your API key.

4. GemmaCredits

GemmaCredits are platform credits used to facilitate transactions between nodes on the network. GemmaCredits are not currency, have no guaranteed monetary value, and cannot be exchanged for cash. We may adjust credit balances, pricing, or allocation policies at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use GemmaNet to:

  • Generate, distribute, or store illegal content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or node operators
  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk requests
  • Attempt to exploit, attack, or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
  • Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls
  • Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
  • Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws

6. Content and Node Operators

GemmaNet routes requests between clients and node operators. We do not control, monitor, or take responsibility for content generated by third-party nodes. Node operators are solely responsible for the outputs of their models and must ensure their services comply with applicable laws and these Terms.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the platform, or pose a risk to other users. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before suspension, except in cases of serious or urgent violations.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

GemmaNet is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular node will be available or produce accurate results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GemmaNet and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to GemmaNet in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
